Flat packed furniture

I'm here again with my mundane drivel!

Arrived at the cottages at 6.10pm, realised i'd spent the entire afternoon with a number 1 made out of masking tape, stuck to the back of my jumper (oh, my boss is so funny).

Quicky bathed, got comfy leisure suit on (well okay p.j's), threw my tea in the oven, let cats in who were all sat on the step with their teeth chattering!

Put new DVD's on shelf :o)
Marlene arrived at 7.30pm, she told me all the same news she's told me Monday!

Andy arrived at 8pm.
Marlo "ooh you sound like a rugby player".........
Shut up Mother!
Andy's guffawing, "i'm not sure how to take that".
The pair of them then chatted about Steven coming home, Andy said he's not given it a chance!
He then told Mum he went to school with Hayley, (she'll be confused now, seen as Ruth's told her he's 29).

She departed soon after as promised, off to Auntie Gills with her cards, we set about putting together a flat pack, pine chest of drawers...............what a fucking drama!

I reckon i'd have got them together in 1hr.
Oh no, not Mr.Porrait.....i don't need instuctions, after 2 1/2 hrs and lots of swearing, cursing etc from the alpha Male.
It was up, with a little help from me, well i put the handles on and i also pointed out some practical points, like "the fronts of the drawers are falling off, because there are 2 screw holes at the side that need screws in".

Anyhow, he went on his merry way at 11pm, up early today now he's back at work.
So we never got to watch a film, he wanted to watch Scarface, but he made me turn it off after 20mins as he needed all his concentration for the cabinet!

That's it ..........evening over, i went to Bedfordshire soon after!
It's the hump of the week today, this afternoon i need to take a late lunch to let the acrpet fitters in!
Evening plans, Tescos and 2 WEEKS ironing!
Entertaining Ruth tomorrow.........

Then it's Sarah's fun packed birthday weekend, Friday we are doing the infamous Westgate wobble (cleck pubcrawl), Andy said he'd drive, then found out Grant was coming "ah fuck it, i'll come and get pissed if Grants coming!".

Mr.Stephenson may be staying in my lilac room for the evening.........house guests again? that's twice this year!

Saturday we're off to Pino's..........hoorah!

So back to work now, we've erected a 6 foot xmas candy cane, that's all lit up, so i'm typing in the dark (for full effect).
David is still pissed from last night, he went to the flying Pizza with 3 pals, 1 had veal, 3 had pizzas and they all that icecream and strawberries.......the bill was £240........the rest was spent on wine and sambuka!!!

Oohh midweek drinking..........he's looking for a bird, wonder if 10 men bates is interested?
