I have caught the Derby decorating bug.

I'm not going down there again, i'm fooking knackered with it all.

No it's not really Sam's fault (or 10 men Bates), it started with, "i might change the colour scheme of the bathroom" daydream.

Before i knew it, i spent yesterday lunch purchasing fluffy green bathsheets, towels, facecloths and bathmats.
B&Q for paint, rollers and brushes. blah blah!

Oh god what have i started? fired home, no time, to waste, starting prepping bathroom, masking tape fooking everywhere, 9.15pm, last night..........bath panel, sporadic blue tiles, cupboard doors and edging painted now in sage green, much better...............broke off to have my tea, watched shameless.

Once the paint had dried, put all new nicknacks, candles, vase, and new toiletries (yes everything had to match), in place and went to bed a very happy but dizzy (paint fumes) bunny..........oh read for an hour and fell asleep at 1am.

No news from Monday, called at Ma and pa's on the way home for my weekly visit, no call from Matt as Andrew is on leave, so tea, p.j's, t.v (finished my jigsaw), bed and book.

Even less news today, have paid for Scotland (need to start being nice to Beth and Tina, my all year round catsitters), was quite afraid when Jim said it was such a bargain, him and Mum would like to come with us.......................aaahh!!!
Andy? can my Mum and Dad come along with us on our 1st holiday away together?................eek!
Need to pay my wage in at lunchtime and call and get a stainless steel bathroom bin.
Off for waxing and stuff at Nicholas tonight then seeing AP, no other plans or decorating spates ahead, just chilling and looking forward to getting drunk at the weekend and having at least one lie in............

That's my lot, over and out! OH! i have spare BLUE, plant pot, glass decanter, bath cream, facial wash, toothpaste, mouthwash, toothbrush, flannels, towels, bathmats, bin.........oh dear! what a waste of money??!!?
